Temporary Residents

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency and necessary treatment from the local GP. You will need to register as a temporary patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the practice closest to where you are temporarily staying.

You will need to complete a form when you attend so it would be helpful if you could arrive a little earlier for your appointment and please bring a form of ID with you.
